Jenny Whiteley and Alysa Hawkins have been close friends for years and have collaborated on several successful ventures in the past including the Old School Bluegrass Camp, and several concerts series. And now we have added our first annual Songwriting Camp.
Jenny Whiteley is a musician, songwriter, promoter and two time Juno award winner. She is a former member of bluegrass band Heatrbreak Hill and founding member of High Lonesome Wednesdays at Toronto’s Sliver Dollar Room.
Alysa Hawkins the owner and manager of South in Milford, a beautiful bed and breakfast situated in the renovated public school. She lives there with her husband Jesse and their three children. Alysa has hosted multiple concerts and events at the school and has overseen the tremendous transformation from de-commissioned public school to modernly chic home with guests suites.
